DESCRIPTION:The AVF United Against Cancer campaign\, proudly supported by African Voices Forum as a funding partner through the BNSSG Communities Against Cancer initiative\, is a powerful community‑driven effort to raise awareness\, promote early detection\, and support individuals affected by cancer. Running from May to the end of October\, the campaign focuses on empowering African and Caribbean communities and the wider Bristol population with vital knowledge about prevention\, screening\, treatment options\, and survivor support. By amplifying culturally informed messaging and breaking down barriers to health information\, the campaign aims to save lives through education and early action. \nThroughout the campaign period\, AVF will help deliver outreach\, workshops\, and awareness activities designed to encourage conversations around cancer and reduce stigma within our communities. This collaborative effort reinforces the belief that early detection saves lives\, and that by working together\, we can build healthier\, more informed\, and more resilient communities. As partners in this mission\, we stand united in supporting individuals\, families\, and survivors while championing a future where everyone has access to the knowledge and confidence needed to take charge of their health.
