AVF YOUNG PEOPLE’S TRIP TO LONDON HISTORY MUSEUM

African Voices Forum takes 30 young people of their member organisations to the London History Museum.

The trip among a number of planned activities in the AFRIFEST BLACK HISTORY MONTH events to celebrate African history and culture.

Again the trip was also aimed at providing young people of African-Caribbean origin an opportunity to explore and unravel the history behind the existence of their origin as Africans and to build friendship.

Initiatives like this are expected to serve as a huge motivation for young people to have a sense f belonging, grow their self esteem and  to desist from activities that are unhealthy and inimical to their lives.

African Voices Forum through its YoungLegacies program is committed to introduce more fulfilled and educative events to engage black young people in Bristol.
